am I the only one laughing?

You’re not alone, no. I’m cracking up over here.

I feel a bit horrible for laughing.

Yet, this is so accurate I give bitter laughs.

Sopa’s FIRST victims will be the “Most Blatant” offenders like Rapidshare and Megavideo.

The first attacks will seem entirely legit, and will be hailed as PROOF of how Effective and useful the law has been.

And just like Sherlock, by dying in such a huge way- these sites will become inspirations, As I said, I’d be freaking PROUD of my fanfic, my uploading and downloading of shows, because I go out of my way to also buy the DVDs and CDs for them too.

I PROVE THEIR LEGITIMACY.

Napster was actually one of the BEST things for small bands. So many musical talents became at all famous or got so many new fans because of the free sharing of music. It took the power from companies and gave it to individuals.

As long as people BUY the DVDs if they liked the show- their ideas of how “we’re destroying the economy and taking jobs by downloading” are complete and utter bullshite.

Just like Sherlock being the villainous cheat was utter bullshite… the internet, and all it’s fans, know the truth, and WILL spread it, will remember it, and WILL help foster an underground movement, a gorilla campaign to keep the spirit of free sharing alive.
